Video transcript in case, something was not clear.

Hello everyone, today I’m going to go over maximizing adobe readers. The first thing we want to do is just press “F8 and F9” to make the tabs appear, so F8 and F9, After you make the tabs appear you want to have the find button, the sticky note button, and the highlight button. I’m just going to go over those three things today, if you don’t have those buttons.

Just right click on the tab and then just add them on.

Go to edit for the find button and comments for the sticky not button and highlight button.

After you do that well we can start.

With the highlight button: just click on it and you can highlight whatever you would like or whatever you think it’s important. So just highlight the most important thing on your paper and thing like that, this is going to help you a lot once you are going over your stuff to study for your exams and thing like that. If you want to remove what you have highlighted just right click on it and click delete. So there we go, that’s pretty much what the highlight button will do.

The sticky note button is going to let you add a sticky note to any section of the PDF, so let’s say you have a question on the PDF and you want to answer to it just click next to the question or wherever and then write whatever you would like to. You can add notes or anything that you would like, it’s a lot easier to add a sticky note than to print out the whole PDF just to answer some question, so the sticky note will help you to answer some questions.  Then you can right click on it and remove it, delete it or whatever you would like to.

Now let’s go over the Find button, with the find button is going to make this tab appear and you want to type in whatever word or “key word” you are looking for, like “Negative” so click enter, and it will go over the whole PDF looking for that key word. So there we go “Negative” now this is going to help you find whatever you are looking for nice and easy, “fast.” Like you can see I have highlighted multiple things that are important or things that I will use later on for my assignments and things like that.
Here is a quick example of how I used the sticky note, for example: the word “Bias” I did not understand the full meaning of the word “Bias” so I wanted to have a sticky note and I put the meaning of the word bias, just in case I would forget.

These three tools will help you maximize your experience with adobe reader and will also save you a bunch of paper that you would otherwise print out just because you want to answer to the questions, So “sticky note,” “Highlight,” and the “Find button.”
There is also a feature called “Read out loud” which read out loud the paper while you are doing something else. You can find it over here, if you don’t have it you can just go to the help button and add it as a plug in, but I will not go over that feature today.

So that is it for today, if you have any questions or comments just post them, and if you would like to have a video of some other related topics to the university, just let me know and I’ll be happy to help you out with it.
